What personal data do we collect and why

Online Orders

Partenope Press, LLC collects information you enter to place an order with us. This includes your name, e-mail address and mailing address. The information collected is used to process and fill your order, communicate with you about your order (i.e. order and shipping confirmation emails), and to communicate with you about our products, services and, promotions. We may also use your personal information in an effort to enhance and personalize your shopping experience. This may include using your personal information to advise you of new products and services. Payment Details

All payment details are collected and secured by our 3rd party payment provider, PayPal, and are handled in accordance with PayPal’s Privacy Policy. While we follow the standard protocol regarding the collection and processing of information and our website is processed by an industry-standard data encryption system called Secure Socket Layer (SSL),  Partenope Press, LLC, shall not be held responsible or liable for services provided by PayPal or any other third-party suppliers.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Our contact forms are for your convenience. You do not have to use our forms or fill in your details unless you wish to contact us via our contact forms.  We will collect your name and email address for the purpose of communicating with you. How long we retain your data

If you place an order with us your information will be retained indefinitely. Abandoned, canceled and failed orders are retained for one day. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, have ordered from this site, or have left comments on this site,  you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
